Kabi the Sea Creature

Kabi is primarily based off of a Japanese Spider Crab, minus six legs and with the addition of a headlamp.
He was modeled, rigged, and animated in Maya with textures hand-painted in Photoshop.

I imagine him as a very happy lad that enjoys collecting pretty shells along the ocean floor, much like Japanese Spider Crabs are known to do in the real world.
